Job Title: Accounts Officer Department: Tax & Accounts

Job Responsibilities

You’ll also need to keep the Daily Progress Report (DPR) and the stock numbers updated, because trust me, nobody likes surprises when it comes to inventory. Dealer ledgers? Yep, those need reconciling too, and you’ll handle whatever adjustments pop up along the way.
Paperwork isn’t glamorous, but hey, someone’s gotta keep the accounting records, vouchers, and all that documentation neat and tidy. Oh, and when tax season rolls around (or, you know, every single month), you’ll jump in to help prep and file those returns—sales tax, income tax, the whole shebang.
Sometimes the auditors—both inside the company and the ones from outside—show up asking for docs or reconciliations. You’ll be the point person for that. Got some outstanding payments? Get ready to chase down receivables and make sure the cash actually shows up when it’s supposed to.
Compliance? Yeah, that’s on your plate too. You’ll keep everything on the up-and-up with accounting standards, tax rules, and whatever policies the company throws your way.
End of the month, end of the year—get ready to roll up your sleeves and help close the books. And if management drops a random task in your lap… well, just add it to the list. Welcome to the team!

Looking for someone who’s either a CA Inter or doing their articleship (that’s a big plus), or maybe you’re a B.Com/M.Com grad—either works. Got 1-3 years messing around with accounts or taxes? Sweet. Just started your CA internship? Go ahead and toss your hat in the ring too.
You gotta be tight with Excel, Word, PowerPoint. If you’ve actually clicked around in some accounting or ERP software (instead of just hearing about it in class), even better.
Time management? Kinda non-negotiable. Organization too, because honestly, we don’t have time for chaos. You’ll need an eagle eye for details and know how to untangle those “what on earth happened here” accounts.
Oh, and if you can talk to people without making it weird, juggle a few things at once, and actually show up when you say you will—you’re basically golden.
