Govt Hikes Petrol and Diesel Prices
petrol prices are on the rise in Pakistan. The government just dropped the news: starting October 1, 2025, you’ll be paying more at the pump. Why? Apparently, OGRA and all those official folks had their say, and, surprise, the Finance Division agreed.

High Speed Diesel just got bumped up by Rs. 4.04 per litre. That means you’re looking at Rs. 276.81 for every single litre now, instead of the old Rs. 272.77. Ouch. Guess it’s time to rethink that road trip, huh?
Yeah, so petrol’s gone up again—by Rs. 4.07 a litre. Now you’ll be coughing up Rs. 268.68 for every litre at the pump, instead of the old Rs. 264.61. Not exactly thrilling news for your wallet.
These new prices are sticking around for the next two weeks, apparently. The government’s still playing the “let’s match global prices and local stuff” game, so who knows what’s next? Buckle up, I guess.
