We are looking for Assistant Manager – Finance Location: Johar Town, Lahore

Qualifications

• 3 plus years of relevant experience preferably in an FMCG or manufacturing concern.
• Qualified CMA, or CA-Inter.

Knowledge and skills

• Strong command of accounting principles, financial reporting, and ERP system.
• Sound understanding of taxation, audit coordination, and financial compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities and Duties To assist in achieving departmental objectives through;

• Supervise and manage the day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation, and Fixed Assets.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
• Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and management analysis for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and statutory requirements.
• Oversee cash flow management, vendor payments, and receivable monitoring to maintain healthy liquidity.
• Lead and guide the accounting team to maintain accurate books of accounts and documentation.
• Coordinate with auditors during audit cycles and ensure timely completion.
• Review journal entries, vouchers, and reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.
• Implement and strengthen internal controls, ensuring process efficiency and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
• Monitor and optimize use of ERP, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting.
